Used to accurately measure solid or liquid masses, precision scales are indispensable equipments for laboratories and many industries. Balanças Marques, the portuguese company elected the best in the world in the Weighing Review Awards 2019, has been attentive to this area of weighing and presented a whole range of new innovative solutions for the most diverse needs, that guarantees the best precision, repeatability and reliability in various laboratory and industrial conditions.

Thus, Marques MCS range includes models of analytical scales (MCS-LA, -LB, -LC), bench scales (MCS-LV), counting scales (MCS-CT), IP68 scales (MCS-WP) and platform scales (MCS-CS, -XC).

Analytical scales:

With a readability of 0.001g, the MCS-LA is available in two weighing capacities: 200g and 500g. This analytical scale has, among others, counting pieces and tare functions, 21 types of weight units, RS232 serial port for connecting peripherals and rechargeable battery.

The MCS-LA has a robust and durable structure, LCD display with backlight, pan in glass with structure in stainless steel and sliding doors, and stainless steel weighing plate.
The other options, with similar features but meeting different process needs, are MCS-LB (weighing capacity of 2000g) and MCS-LC (capacitys of 3000g and 5000g), both with a readibility of 0,01g.

Bench scales:

MCS-LV is a robust and high precision scale, with large LCD screen and stainless steel weighing plate. It has check weight function, tare and accumulation functions, among others. With RS232 serial port for connecting peripherals and rechargeable battery, MCS-LV is available in 4 models with different weighing capacities (3; 6; 15; 30 kgs) and readability (0,2g; 0,5g; 1g; 2g)

Counting scales:

MCS-CT is a robust, high precision scale for counting pieces. With 3 LCD screens and stainless steel weighing plate, it has check weight function, tare and accumulation functions, among others. With RS232 serial port for connecting peripherals and rechargeable battery, MCS-CT is available in 4 models with different weighing capacities (3; 6; 15; 30 kgs) and readability (0,2g; 0,5g; 1g; 2g)

IP68 scales:

MCS-WP is a IP68 waterproof scale with 304 stainless steel construction, completely sealed with ventilated ring for load cell. Ideal for use in humid environments, has waterproof mechanical keyboard, LED display with backlight and adjustable feet and level indicator. MCS-WP includes tare, counting pieces and check weight functions, and several units, like kg, g, pcs, lb and lb.oz. It is available with the capacities of 15 and 30 kgs, and readability of 1g and 2g, respectively.

Platform scales:

With a compact construction, structure and weighing plate in stainless steel, MCS-CS and MCS-XC have excellent mobility thanks to the use of internal rechargeable battery, being suitable for use in various locations.

With LCD screen with backlight and RS232 serial port for connecting peripherals, this platform scales have weighing, counting pieces and accumulation functions, among others. MCS-CS has a capacity of 60kg and MCS-XC a capacity of 30kg, both with a readability of 1g.

All Balanças Marques MCS scales have either an internal or external calibration system to continuously calibrate the scale, regardless of its place of use.
