HAVER Southern Africa has a new manager

Haver & Boecker (South Africa) - Effective August, 2014, Demelza Mulligan assumes the management position of Joachim Hoppe.

Since August 1, 2014, Demelza Mulligan has assumed the management position of HAVER Southern Africa. After having received her Bachelor’s Degree from Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town, she completed her international Master’s Degree in Germany at the Polytechnic University of Münster. During her studies there she made contact with HAVER & BOECKER.

After having completed her Master’s Degree she worked for the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in South Africa. The business administration specialist then changed over to HAVER Southern Africa in 2013 where she was able to use her fluent language knowledge in German, English and Afrikaans as the marketing manager – and now as managing director. She states that here she combines her “European academic basis with the African reality on a daily basis”.

In her position she will be succeeding Joachim Hoppe who directed HAVER Southern Africa for three years and who during this period laid the foundation for positive future business development for southern Africa.

Joachim Hoppe is returning to his successful work at the Oelde-Germany headquarters where he will be founding the new business unit of Bergbau/Mining.
