HBM Tips for successful troubleshooting of a load cell
HBM - Hottinger Baldwin Messtechnik GmbH (Germany) - How can you easily check whether a load cell is still operational? Our video shows that three test measurements are sufficient to obtain important information about your load cell's correct operation and status.

All you need is a standard multimeter, a 9-volt battery - and, of course, your load cell.

Please note: The test shown in the video only allows for general statements concerning a load cell's correct operation. Further isolation testing using a multimeter is not possible, since this would require a higher test voltage. This test can usually only be carried out in a laboratory fitted with adequate equipment.
