Cardinal Scale (United States) - This position will report to the maintenance and facilities manager with 50% of the work day consisting of independent cleaning and maintenance of horse stables and property. The remaining time in the day will be spent performing various basic functions within the maintenance department. This includes work in the plant which may consist of cleaning and general labor. Safety must always be exercised.

Essential Functions:

Stables / Handyman: First 2 to 4 hours.

• Daily maintenance of pool
• Daily mucking of horse stalls and stables
• Yard maintenance, mowing, and landscaping
• Maintenance of stables
• General labor
• Minor Maintenance / Repair work: Until end of Shift
• Basic tasks and general labor to be performed at Cardinal Scale Manufacturing.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

• Steel-toed shoes
• Respirator or face-shield when necessary

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work.

This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with some flexibility, 40 hours per week.

No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma/GED.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance.

Must be eligible to work in the United States.
