RADWAG Balances and Scales (Poland) - On 6 - 7 March, 2019, a second edition of the international metrological conference, "Metrology Symposium: Traceability In Mass Metrology" will take place. The aim of the symposium is to educate and exchange information regarding today’s mass calibration technologies, and to advice on planning future modern mass laboratories. We will focus on the latest technologies and techniques in mass comparison, tackle the issues of mass comparison process carried out in vacuum, and of testing mass standards’ magnetism. One of the main subjects will be the new kilogram definition that will come into force on 20th May, 2019.

During the Metrology Symposium, we will host representatives of national metrological institutions from around the world. The lecturers will include world experts from ČMI Czech Republic, GUM Poland, PTB Germany, NPL UK, NIST USA, METAS Switzerland, UME Turkey, LNE France, HAFNER Germany and RADWAG.

The event will be held under the auspices of the Central Office of Measures (GUM), Warsaw, Poland. Symposium hosts are Czech Metrology Institute and RADWAG Balances and Scales.
