Coventry Scale Company (United Kingdom) - Press Release: Midlands based weighing company, Coventry Scale Company, has moved into a brand-new business unit, doubling the size of its premises to meet growing demand for its services.

The company, that supplies, maintains, and calibrates commercial and industrial weighing equipment as well as develops bespoke weighing systems for automation and data processing, has moved into a new unit on Coventry Business Park.

Complete with a larger workshop, additional office space, and a product demonstration and training room, the move gives the company added room to accommodate its growing team plus the capacity to take on more projects and calibration work.

Tom Marren, managing director at Coventry Scale Company, comments: “We are delighted with our move to a larger business unit. The new space is perfect for what we need to operate as a company and forms part of our growth plans for 2021 and beyond.

“It also means that we now have an even better environment for our team to do what they do best - develop bespoke weighing solutions that can help our customers drive quality and improve operational efficiency. Weighing technology has advanced so much in recent years that one size doesn’t fit all so it’s also great to have the room to invite our customers in and demonstrate new products and applications.”

Coventry Scale Company has been based in Coventry for more than 40 years and has customers not only in the Midlands but also nationally, in Europe, East Africa, the Middle East, and the Far East. The company works with a wide range of industries including food production, automotive, pharmaceutical, logistics, and motorsports.

As part of the move, the company plans to recruit two additional roles over the coming months – a new role in the office team and another field service engineer.

Tom explains: “Back in 2015 we changed our business model to focus on commercial and industrial weighing which has resulted in a year-on-year growth for our business. And it is this growth that has allowed us to invest in our latest move. With more space, we are now in a position to increase the size of our team and we plan to recruit a sales admin assistant and an additional service engineer in the next few months.

“This is a really exciting time for Coventry Scale Company. From the move and creating a work environment that the whole team can really thrive in, to recruiting more people to join us, the start of this new chapter really will provide a strong foundation for our team and the business to grow and develop over the coming years.”
