RADWAG MA 50.5Y.IC Moisture Analyzer

The MA 50. 5Y.IC Moisture Analyzer offers you four drying profiles: standard, mild, fast and step.

• The standard profile is the usually used drying profile. It allows the most accurate determination of moisture content.
• The mild profile is designed for drying substances that are sensitive to the rapid heat released by the filaments, which heat full power at the initial stage of the process. An example of such a substance is leather. 
• You will use the fast profile for samples with significant moisture content – of the order of even several tens of percent.  
• The step profile will be ideal for drying substances that contain more than 15 percent moisture. Within this profile you can define any three temperatures. You will choose the values of temperature and duration of heating experimentally.

The MA 5Y.IC Moisture Analyzer has four finish modes: automatic, manual, time-defined and user-defined.

• Automatic mode
  You define the moisture loss limit value in 60 seconds. When the moisture analyzer reaches the set criterion, the measurement will automatically end.  
• Manual mode
  You terminate the measurement yourself by pressing the STOP button.
• Time-defined mode
  The measurement ends after the set time has elapsed regardless of the result. You have up to 99 hours 59 minutes to manage!
• User-defined mode
  When you remove all volatiles from a sample, by definition, its mass should be constant. During drying, the dry mass of the sample is defined by a condition: if the mass of the sample is stable within 1 mg during the observation time (Auto 1-5), we consider that all volatile components have been removed from its structure.

The main purpose of the CY10.PGC scale is control of pre-packaged goods. The universal features of this measuring device, such as speed, accuracy, simplicity of use and automation of the weighing process, make it desirable in both laboratory and industrial environments. Interaction with peripherals and accessories (barcode scanner, receipt and label printer, RFID reader, mouse, keyboard, USB storage device) is made possible by the scale’s communication interfaces: USB-A (2), USB-C, HDMI, Ethernet, Wi-Fi® and Hotspot.

The CY10.PGC scale is equipped with a stainless weighing pan as well as a terminal with a 10-inch display and touch panel. The durable and easy-to-clean pan and the large and legible display improve the ergonomics of working on the device. The long cable connecting the terminal and the platform provides the comfort of free operation of the terminal, and the ability to work with an additional weighing platform expands the scale’s range of applications.

Purpose: Control of Pre-Packed Goods

The CY10.PGC scale is equipped with a module realizing control of packed goods; its basis is a database with a list of products and operators. The control ends automatically after inspecting (controlling) pre-defined quantity of packages (samples), which is determined by the scale program depending on product batch size. The user will read information about the currently performed control and its result on a clear graphic display. The scale enables two packaged goods controls to be performed simultaneously by one operator.

The control cycle follows the following pattern:

• Operator choice
• Product choice
• TARE selection or check
• Acquiring weighing records
• Automatic control end after certain packages number
• Saving the report or printing it.

The summary of each control is the final report, which contains all the information necessary for the pre-packed goods control report. The report is automatically stored in the scale’s memory and can be printed on a printer connected to the computer.

In order to make trains as safe as possible, it has been identified that a wheel force measurement system needed to be developed to automatically check and inspect the balance of trains and ensure nothing has worn or failed between service schedules. Our Force Derailment Protection System (DPS) force measurement system is the final result of a major R&D project conducted by our Trainweigh Department.

The Force DPS is an automated system that can identify individual wheel force loadings. The system will alarm if any wheels or axles are out of a pre-set tolerance.

Health and Safety are optimised with the Force DPS’ built-in Centre-of-Gravity checking system. This makes identifying load errors, wheel errors, and suspension faults quick and simple. The Force DPS provides the operator with documentation that proves the train is within wheel force tolerance and is subsequently in accordance with worldwide guidance and DIN Standards.

The Force DPS is especially useful for proving that the train, carriages and cargo are safe.
