Kice Industries (United States) - Performs forming operations to support fabrication of metal parts used in production of company products, while following all safety protocol.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Loads and unloads materials from the machine and deliver parts to the proper department.
- Deburrs, grinds and cleans parts as needed.
- Selects proper forming programs and make proper set-ups for forming operations.
- Operates and cross trains on all fabrication forming machinery; such as Rolling, Folding, and Hand Forming.
- Maintains prescribed preventative maintenance as required.
- Effectively and efficiently completes operations within time frame indicated on the job traveler.
- Ensures all equipment is properly set-up and used in a safe manner.
- Correctly and efficiently utilizes the Kice Epicor computer/program system when clocking into and out of jobs and retrieving drawings and job travelers.
- Works safely and efficiently with pneumatic, electric and manual hand tools.
- Safely and properly utilizes and operates an overhead crane, forklift, pallet jack and other authorized lifting apparatus in order to move parts safely and securely throughout the facility.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Minimum of high school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Must have general computer knowledge.
- Must be able to multi-task and complete assignments on time.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and meet other physical requirements needed for the position.
- Must be able to follow safety procedures at all times.
- Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality and accuracy.
- Exhibits dependability, including following instructions; responding to supervisor’s direction; and taking responsibility for own actions.
- Ability to take initiative, including asking for and offering help when needed; performs work independently without being prompted.
