Kice Industries (United States) - Prepares parts for paint process by using various techniques and paints parts to specifications, while following all safety protocol.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Safely preps parts to be painted by cleaning, washing, masking and hanging parts.
• Bead blasts stainless steel parts when required.
• Mixes paint to specified consistency and viscosity for spraying and adjusts equipment to obtain the best finished product.
• Selects appropriate coatings, paints, or sprays, and prepares them for mixing using required formulas.
• Completes paint process by baking, polishing or using other materials to ensure final product meets all specifications.
• Correctly and efficiently utilizes the Kice Epicor computer/program system when clocking into and out of jobs and retrieving drawings and job travelers
• Safely and properly utilizes and operates an overhead crane, forklift, pallet jack and other authorized lifting apparatus.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year previous experience painting using various applications and techniques in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have general computer knowledge.
• Must be able to multi-task and complete assignments on time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and meet other physical requirements needed for the position.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures at all times.
• Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on quality and accuracy.
