Mason Technology Ltd. (Ireland) - Mason Technology is a wholly owned Irish company established in 1780. The principle activities include the supply and distribution of analytical, laboratory and weighing instruments, whilst also offering a comprehensive after sales service.
Mason Technology is recruiting a Quality Engineer to work within our Dublin office reporting to the Quality Manager.
The successful candidate will assist with maintaining the quality function within the Company and partner closely with all Departments develop and continually improve the Quality Management Systems.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for ensuring that the requirements of ISO 17025 (INAB) and ISO 9001 are achieved
- Assist with all External Audits by Certification bodies, Accreditation bodies and customers
- Maintain all Quality Control documentation and amendments to the Standard Operating Procedures
- Complete Internal Audits as part of an Audit Team, assist Quality Manager with audit scheduling and performance
- Investigating Corrective Actions, Customer Complaints and working with departments and customers to identify solutions
- Control of Test and Measurement equipment and associated systems including calibration/ technical drift monitoring
- Monitoring Customer Feedback and Customer Satisfaction
- Monitoring Vendor Issues and Vendor Satisfaction
- Database and Paperwork Administration of Certificates
- Providing Technical Support internally and to customers
- Working with Health and Safety Team and Subject Matter Experts to generate Method Statement/ Risk Assessment Documentation
- Be pro-actively involved with future development in all Departments particularly relating to ISO 14001
(Environmental) and ISO 45001 (Health and Safety) Certification
Requirements:
- Prior experience of ISO 9001 Quality Standard
- Knowledge of ISO 17025, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 an advantage
- Quality Assurance/ Quality Control/ Technical/ Scientific/ Engineering background
- Ideally have auditing experience
- Be able to work independently, with strong attention to detail
- Have strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
- Be able to maintain confidentiality of information
- Have a positive attitude and be pro-active
- Have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to work under pressure and within short time constraints
- Be ambitious to identify new business opportunities and develop into other areas of service support.
