Positive Weighing Solutions Ltd. (United Kingdom) - We're looking for a Service Manager to assist and advise technically, 5 very busy engineers who are carrying out installations and service work across the region.

Based at our offices in Malvern, this is a full-time, permanent position. Salary range £30,000 to £40,000pa + benefits.

Job Description:

• Look after a team of 5 engineers who carry out Installations, Calibrations and Servicing on varying makes / models of weighing equipment, from a small laboratory balance to a weigh bridge or loadcell installation on a tank farm.
• To provide hands on training in all areas of weighing technology.
• To maintain training records and update our internal systems accordingly
• To be responsible for ensuring all engineers are equipped for each job we carry out and have the required skills to perform their role

Skills:

• All applicants must have a good working knowledge of electronics (Essential)
• All applicants must have a sound knowledge of all aspects of Comms (RS232 / Ethernet etc..) (Essential)
• Experience of working within an ATEX environment is beneficial.
• All applicants should be PC literate and be able to prove competency using word / excel and other basic programs such as configuration software (This is essential)
• Good numeracy and literacy skills alongside a technology / manufacturing-based subject and experience.
• A knowledge of Metrology is desirable.

Abilities:

• All applicants should have good administration capabilities, be organised and be able to work to processes.
• To deal effectively with customers.
• To carry equipment and safely and repeatedly handle multiple test weights up to 20kgs. (Manual handling training will be given)
