New Ethernet Connectivity for 190 STORM weighing indicator

New Ethernet Connectivity for 190 STORM weighing indicator
Cardinal Scale (USA) – The 190 STORM weight indicator now offers the model 190-IP Ethernet TCP/IP option card for networking connectivity solutions. The 190-IP offers a compact 10/100 Ethernet transceiver, network status diagnostic LEDs, and RJ45 port for a complete networking interface. The 190-IP also includes an embedded Web server used to remotely configure, monitor, or troubleshoot the attached device.

To install the 190-IP, a connecting Ethernet cable needs to be inserted through a second gland connector added to the 190 STORM and terminated with a RJ45 8-pin connector (The 190 STORM features one option card slot). AC power only is highly suggested due to power requirements. No firmware update should be necessary. Set OPT to 1, and the baud rate should be set to match the 190-IP’s channel 1 serial setting (default is 9600). The 190-IP’s set-up connection may be performed through the LAN using the included Lantronix DeviceInstaller software.

FEATURES:
  • Standard RJ45 Ethernet port
  • Embedded Web server
  • 10/100Mb Ethernet – auto-sensing
  • Easy configuration through a Web interface
  • E-mail client capability
  • Password protection
  • No firmware update necessary to the 190 STORM
