Yamato introduces turnkey bucket repair kit solution

Yamato Scale Co., Ltd. (Japan) - Yamato has improved its spare parts strategy by creating a turnkey solution to bucket repairs.

Instead of providing individual bucket parts one at a time Yamato is now supplying complete replacement operating mechanisms as a kit of parts. This ensures even wear and tear and reduces the need to keep on ordering parts piecemeal as and when elements of the bucket mechanism fail.

Using a bucket repair kit will keep buckets in good mechanical order to ensure optimum machine performance. Quick and cost-effective, the new kits comprise all the parts needed to maintain complete bucket health – including links, balls, rod ends and pins – and come with an easy to follow ‘how to fit’ guide.

Yamato service manager Lee Smith said: “With the introduction of our new bucket repair kits, in time for the new financial year and likely the start of new planning for service visits to sites, we are offering customers a far more efficient and productive option for repairing the buckets on all Yamato multihead weighers.

“Instead of buying just one part for a bucket, we encourage you to buy our new kit in order to update all moving parts at once, to ensure its reliable and efficient workability.

“The repair kits are a perfect way of ensuring the overall health and reliability of your machine. Ensuring buckets close properly means that there will be no product leakage, so accuracy will not be compromised.”

Each bucket repair kit comes with a free of charge ‘how to fit’ guide and the Yamato service team is always on hand to deal with any further questions.

Yamato is entering its 100th year of manufacturing. To mark this important milestone the company has revisited its core values, realigning its business to ensure that exemplary customer service is at the heart of everything that it does. This includes the development of new spare parts and maintenance strategies.

Yamato commercial operations manager Andrea Spencer said: “We have re-focused on customer service, and on driving the business through improved marketing, R&D and sales activities.

“We are committed to pursuing new, turnkey projects, growing our value proposition, and continuing to meet our customers’ requirements with high quality manufacturing solutions and service. Our new bucket repair kits are part of that commitment.”
